Former Love Island star Bethany Rogers who appeared on the first series of the Hit ITV2 Love Island show in 2015, is accused of having stashed suspected criminal money in her her bank account between April 2015 and April 2017.

Ms Rogers, 23, from Leeds, West Yorkshire, has denied the accusation of possessing cash which she knew, or suspected, was the proceeds of crime.

This charge is understood to be related to money paid into her bank account by 28-year-old Laurence Edwards from Burley-in-Wharfedale.

When he appeared at At Bradford Crown Court, Mr Laurence Edwards, denied charges including money-laundering £25,500 of criminal money by buying a Mercedes car.

Edwards has also been charged with handling nearly £50,000 of criminal money between April 2015 and January 2018, and intending to pervert the course of justice.

The pair have been released on bail until May 4th 2020, when they are due to go return to Bradford Crown Court for their trial.
